Dirty

Dirty is easily wiped clean

if we were talking about windows,

and if the dirty subject should happen to be

something as common as the kitchen floor

a bucket of soapy water

would take care of all dirt to be seen

and on the other end of the dirt spectrum

the rainbow of filth as it were

One would find the ease lessening

and a little elbow grease may come in to play

when cleansing the soul

of its putrescence and removing

all particles of dirt

from under one’s spiritual fingernails
